The vast majority of the young people that Christie has worked with over the years have succeeded in remaining at Wellington School to the end of year 11 and I am convinced that this would not have been the case without N-Gage’s input.

N-Gage works with our most challenging students, who never feel judged, only supported at their weekly meetings. Such students’ experiences are often negative, revolving around sanctions, they all look forward to their weekly meetings with Christie. It is evident that the young person is at the heart of everything they do and that their aims are the same as ours - to motivate, inspire and prevent young people being excluded from school and not reaching their full potential.

The support that they offer has a massive positive impact on the emotional well-being and self-esteem of our children.

"We have used the 1-1 mentoring services that NGage offer for a number of years now with our year 5 and 6 children. The support that they offer has a massive positive impact on the emotional well-being and self-esteem of our children. It gives our pupils a neutral, listening ear and in many cases means that children are much more able to engage with their peers, teachers and learning. I would highly recommend this service. They are professional, have superb communication skills and the child is at the heart of all they do."

1-2-1 Sessions

Our mentors use these sessions to encourage and motivate the pupil and understand the reasons behind some of their behaviour at school.

Group Courses

We run 10-week programmes (The Beats, Elevate & Inspire) that help students find their place, see the bigger picture and develop personal and social skills.

Workshops

One-off sessions for groups or assemblies that can cover teaching and discussions on a number of relevant topics.
 

BOOKING FORM

Please indicate when during the week you would like us to come in by ticking the relevant box above. If possible, please give more than one option. A typical small group session is 2 hours long, which is usually 2 lesson periods. And 121’s run for an hour or one lesson.
Please let us know about any arrangements you have in school that we need to be aware of when working on site to ensure we keep our staff and your school community safe. Due to Covid we feel it is easier for us to do 121’s or small groups of a maximum of six.
