Aviva Crowdfunder

We’ve been selected by the Aviva Community Fund to try to crowdfund £3,000 to start an intergenerational internet café project.

As it’s a crowdfunded campaign, we will only get the money if the target is reached, so every penny counts! Support us here.

Our vision is to bring a group of young people (who we currently work with) together with older people in the Burnage community and help educated them on how to navigate the internet and use their tablets/computers.

We hope that the group of older people will benefit from this but also that the young people will gain a lot from spending time with their elders.

This should improve community cohesion and the young people will learn the value of getting involved in youth social action and acknowledge the wider benefit this has to their community.
