Sir Peter Fahy, Chief Constable of Manchester:

“It is difficult not to be impressed by the way in which N-Gage, through its various programmes, has transformed the lives of school pupils, some of whom have been on the verge of expulsion, by replacing anger and aggression with a greater sense of self-esteem and purpose.â€

Mr G George, Head of Inclusion, Abraham Moss High School

"I have found the working ethos behind N-Gage to be creative and placing the young person at the centre of their delivery. Their work has been a major factor in our school's success, helping us to get students who have given up on education back on track and to focus on their chosen educational pathway pre & post-16. Abraham Moss High School and N-Gage have worked together for a number of years successfully re-integrating students back into the classroom, in order to offer the best quality support programmes to our students."

Jonathon, one of the young people on our Young Leader's Programme:

"N-Gage has helped me because it meant I would learn valuable life skills such as, teambuilding skills, social skills etc. N-Gage not only helps out young people it also helps out the community, because we have done many tasks which help the community such as laying a log path in Wythenshawe park, painting a church’s kitchen and gardening at the church etc. After we do these it’s an accomplishment and makes me feel like I have done something worthwhile when I would be sat in the house bored. We are awarded with trips which allow us to socialise with the leaders of N-Gage and the other children. After doing the community work I am always given a certificate which can then go to show a future employer that I am hard-working and that I am committed to doing something."

Ruth Moran, Senco/Assistant Head, Newall Green Primary School

"We have employed Christie and the N-Gage Service in our school for the last two years. The projects they undertake aim to encourage young people to make a positive contribution to their community, find ways to make sense of the negative influences they may be faced with but steer themselves into a crime free and viable pathway.

N-Gage works mainly with our Year 5 and 6 pupils – the young people relate well to the N-Gage staff, really enjoy their sessions and are proud of their achievements. The staff are able to manage challenging behaviour, and are flexible if ‘hot’ topics come up that the young people want to discuss. We will be buying in N-Gage again for 2011-12 and I have no hesitation in recommending them."
